Therapy? at Sin City, Swansea, October 14, 2009
Therapy? are a band from the proper school of rock. They come from an era when Kerrang! had real rock bands in their magazine and not what I've recently heard as being dubbed 'bubblegum rock'. Time was it that these unmentioned bands with straightened hair and make up would have been laughed out of the metal industry but they have somehow crept in and become the mainstay. |

Barely Hi-Fi
Reviewed: "Walking All Day" & "Brother" MP3's
I tried reviewing a bunch of Barely Hi-Fi MP3's, but they ended up just being snippets. I think this was a server problem, because when I tried downloading some of them again, I managed to get some full songs - well, I got "Walking All Day" on my second attempt and "Brother" on my fourth.

Reviewed: Fyredroyde EP
Well?: More heavy metal thunder from Wiltshire's gods of the riff. Sounding more Iron Maiden than Iron Maiden in places (well, Diano era anyway), Fyredroyde picks up where Dawn of Ruin ended, with a more focused and (best of all) faster set of tunes.
